Að brúka bekki er samstarfsverkefni félags sjúkraþjálfara og eldri borgara.
Verkefnið gengur út á að komið sé fyrir hvíldarbekkjum á gönguleiðum nálægt félagsmiðstöðvum eldri borgara.
Forveri Félags sjúkraþjálfara, Félag Íslenskra Sjúkraþjálfara (FÍSÞ) varð 70 ára á árinu 2010. Í tilefni þess ákváðu sjúkraþjálfarar að fara af stað með samfélagsverkefni, sem hvatningu til aukinnar hreyfingar, til hagsbóta fyrir almenning. Eitt þeirra er verkefnið „Að brúka bekki“, framkvæmt í samvinnu við Félag eldri borgara.
